1 killed, 15 injured as bus overturns in Ctg

One person was killed and 15 others were injured when a bus overturned in Chattogram on Saturday morning.

The incident took place on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Fakirhat area of Faujdarhat in Sitakunda around 9am. 

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Khokon Chandra Ghosh, Officer-in-charge of Baro Awlia Highway Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said a passenger-bus lost control and overturned in the area. On information, we rushed to the spot.  

Source said a Feni-bound bus of Star Line Paribahan lost control and overturned in the area, leaving one person dead on the spot and 15 others injured.
