4 death row convicts escape from jail by drilling hole in roof

Four death row convicts escaped from the district jail in Bogura by drilling a hole in the roof around 3am on Wednesday.

Police, however, arrested them conducting a drive. 

The death row convicts are Nazrul Islam Moznu (inmate no. 998), of Kurigram’s Bhurungamari upazila, Amir Hossain (inmate no. 5105), of Narsingdi’s Madhabdi upazila, Md Jakaria (inmate no. 3685), son of Bogura’s Kahalu municipality mayor Abdul Mannan and Farid Sheikh (inmate no. 4252), of Bogura. 

Bogura Deputy Commissioner Md Saiful Islam confirmed the matter.

He said he got news that four death row convicts escaped from Bogura jail. Later, police arrested them at 4:30am.
