Kushtia-2 MP injured after being hit by auto-rickshaw

Kushtia-2 constituency lawmaker Md Kamarul Arefin was injured after being hit by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw while crossing the road in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday night. 

He was recovered and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). 

Md Bachchu Miah, In-charge of DMCH’s police camp, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said the incident took place when he was going to his residence on foot around 9pm. He was admitted to the DMCH and discharged after treatment around 12:30am on Tuesday.
