Poet Asim Saha no more

Prominent poet Asim Saha died on Tuesday afternoon.

He breathed his last around 4 pm at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital, confirmed poet Malek Mahmud.

He had been suffering from various diseases, including Parkinson, constipation, and diabetes.

Asim Saha received Ekushey Padak, the country's second highest civilian honor, in 2019 and the Bangla Academy Award in 2012 for his contributions to the Bangla language and literature.
