Md Saiful Haque Patwari (Saiful Haque Mithu), staff reporter of Jago News, has received the "Dudok Media Award-2021".

He got the third award in the print and online category.

Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah, chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), handed over the award to him at the commission's head office at Segunbagicha in Dhaka on Monday.

ACC commissioners Jahurul Haque, and Asia Khatoon, secretary Khorsheda Yasmeen, and jury board member Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul attended the prize-giving ceremony.

Saiful Haque received the prize for a report titled 'Tk 1,500 crore property of corrupts in ACC net in 9 months' published on November 7, 2021.

Today the anti-graft body gave 12 journalists the award in two categories for reports on corruption in 2020 and 2021.

The Anti-Corruption Commission launched the 'Dudok Media Award' in 2013 to inspire investigative and creative journalism on graft.
