Throat-slit bodies of mother, baby boy found in hotel

Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of a woman and her 11-month-old son from a residential hotel in Sadar upazila of Bogura on Sunday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Shahjahanpur Police Station officer in-charge Shahidul Islam said the authorities of 'Shuvechchha Residential Hotel' in Banani area informed police about finding two bodies in a room there.

Later, police went to the hotel and recovered the bodies around 11:30 am, he said.

It is primarily assumed that the woman and her baby boy might have been killed at any time on Saturday night, the OC said.

However, the woman's husband was detained in connection with the murder.
