Hasan Mahmood Khan appointed as new Air Chief

The government has appointed Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan as the new chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) for next three years by promoting him to the rank of Air Marshal.

The appointment will come into effect from June 11.

The Ministry of Defence on Sunday issued a gazette notification, undersigned by its Deputy Secretary Md Monjurul Karim, in this regard.  

Hasan Mahmood Khan will replace outgoing Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan.
