Former Appellate Division Justice Anwar-ul Haque dies

Anwar-ul Haque, former Justice of Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC), has passed away. 

He breathed his last at 2:55am on Sunday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital. 

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Inner Garden of the SC after Zuhr prayers, said Appellate Division Registrar Muhammad Saifur Rahman. 

However, Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the former justice.

In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
