2 Bangladeshi youths shot dead by BSF

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead two Bangladeshi young men on Tetulia border under Panchagarh district early Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Jalil, 24, son of Junu Mia of Magura area in Tetulia upazila and Yeasin Ali, 23, son of Ketab Ali of Tiranihat Bramhatal area of the same upazila.

BGB and local people said the BSF members opened fire when some young men approached the border area. At that time, two of them were killed and their bodies were taken to Indian territory.

Confirming the matter, Panchagarh-18 BGB Battalion Commander Lt Col Jubayed Hasan said no complaint was found yet from the families of the deceased and local representatives. Preparations are underway to hold a flag meeting in this regard.
