2 cases filed against Milton Samadder

Two separate cases were filed against ‘Child & Old Age Care’ founder and chairman Milton Samadder with Mirpur Model Police Station in Dhaka on Thursday.

The cases were filed against him for allegedly making fake death certificates and beating up people in the torture cell of his organization.  

Munshi Sabbir Ahmmed, Officer-in-charge of the police station, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said another case is in process to be filed against him on charge of human trafficking. 

Manas Kumar Poddar, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Detective Police (Mirpur Zone), said Milton will be produced before the court today.

Earlier on Wednesday night, the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Milton in a drive in the capital Dhaka’s Mirpur area.

A few days ago, different media published reports against Milton on his alleged irregularities and crimes centring the care home. The reports went viral on the social media triggering huge public outcry across the country. Talking to different media, Milton, however, denied the allegations.
