The 75th death anniversary of great poet Rabindranath Tagore is being observed on Saturday.

Different socio-cultural organisations have chalked out various programmes to mark the day.

Bangladesh Betar and TV channels are broadcasting special programmes on the occasion.

Bangla Academy and Shilpakala Academy are organising different programmes to recall Tagore’s contribution to arts and culture.

Cultural organisation Chhayanaut is organising an array of programmes featuring dance, songs and discussion at its Ramesh Chandra Auditorium at 7 pm.
