Advance train ticket sale starts Sunday

The sale of advance train tickets begins on Sunday and will continue until March 30 on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

For the hassle-free journey of home-bound and return passengers, the Bangladesh Railways decided to operate eight pairs of special trains during Eid.

The special trains will run on different routes from April 5 to Eid day, and for five days from the day after Eid besides regular ones.

Earlier on March 13, Bangladesh Railway Director General (Acting) Sardar Shahadat Ali said train tickets on the occasion of Eid will be sold online and a passenger can buy the highest four tickets.
