Gulshan multi-storey building catches fire

A multi-storey building at Gulshan in Dhaka caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out on the ninth floor of an 18-storey building at Gulshan-1, Md Rafi Al Faruque, control room duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence, told Jago News around 4:15 pm.
Being informed, three units of firefighters went to the spot and were working to douse the blaze, he said.
According to the Fire Service, it is primarily assumed that the fire originated from the outdoor unit of air conditioner.
