Hatirpool building fire under control

The fire that broke out in a multi-storey building in Hatirpool area of Dhaka has been brought under control.
Firefighters brought the fire under control around 8:37 pm, Md Anwarul Haque, assistant director at Fire Service and Civil Defence, told the media.
However, the origin of the fire and the amount of damage in the incident could not be known yet, he said.
Earlier around 6:04 pm, a fire broke out on the second floor of a six-storey building in Hatirpool Kachabazar area.
Being informed, seven units of the firefighters went to the spot and worked to douse the blaze.
