Bailey Road fire: Queue of bodies at DMCH, relatives wail in pain
The bodies of the people who lost lives in Bailey Road building fire were kept at Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue where their relatives were wailing in pain early Friday.
The relatives were seen waiting in front of the hospital's morgue, and emergency department around 5:20 am to receive the bodies of their loved ones. Some of them broke down and some others fell unconscious.
A makeshift information and help desk was opened beside the emergency dept where the relatives completed the process of receiving bodies by submitting the required documents.
Earlier around 9:50 pm on Thursday, a deadly fire broke out in a restaurant named "Kacchi Bhai' in a multi storied building in Bailey Road area of the capital that left, so far, 43 people dead and injured many others.
