Bodies of woman, 2 children recovered in Munshiganj

Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two children in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Sunday morning.

The deceased were Sayma Begum, 33, wife of Ali Mia, an expatriate in Saudi Arabia and resident of North Islampur village in the upazila.

Additional Police Superintendent (Sirajdikhan Circle) Mostafizur Rahman Rifat said the bodies were retrieved from the woman's house in the village and sent these to a hospital for autopsy. 

Police assume that the woman first killed her two children by feeding them poison and later, she herself committed suicide, he said. 

Sayma took loan from differnet non-government organizations (NGOs) to go to Saudi Arabia. It is assumed that she first killed two children and then, took her own life after being failed to repay the loan, the ASP also said, adding that more details can be known after investigation.
