Weather may remain dry over country

Weather may remain mainly dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am on Friday.

Light to moderate fog may occur over the country from late night to morning.

The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius at Chattogram and today's minimum temperature was recorded at 14.0 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded at 8 millimeters (mm) in Jashore.

Seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to Northeast Bay.

Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 05.54 pm today and rises at 06.31 am tomorrow in the capital.
