Shahiduzzaman takes oath as MP

Md Shahiduzzaman has taken oath as MP of the Naogaon-2 constituency (Patnitala and Dhamoirhat).
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath-taking ceremony at Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday.
Parliament Secretariat Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam moderated the program.
Earlier on Monday, Awami League candidate Shahiduzzaman won the by-polls to the Naogaon-2 seat.
The national election to the constituency was postponed after the death of an independent candidate.
As a result, the 12th parliamentary election was held in 299 seats out of 300 on January 7.
