Indian national held while intruding into Bangladesh

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained an Indian national while intruding into Bangladesh through Patgram border in Lalmonirhat early Tuesday.

The detainee has been identified as Sree Krishna Kumar, 20, from Dhumria village in Madhubani district of Bihar.

Sources in BGB said the Indian citizen was detained from Burimari Ufarmara Sholagharia border area for illegally entering Bangladesh and later, handed over to Patgram Police Station, said the camp official Md Belal Hossain.

Patgram Police Station officer in-charge Ferdous Wahid said a case was filed against the Indian national on the charge of intruding into Bangladesh.
