2nd phase of Bishwa Ijtema ends with Akheri Munajat

The second phase of the 57th Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of the Muslims, ended with Akheri Munajat (final prayers) on Sunday.

The congregation ended with 26 minutes long Akheri Munajat beginning at 11:17am at the Ijtema venue in Tongi of Gazipur as Maulana Yusuf bin Saad Kandhalvi, eldest son of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi of Delhi, conducted the munajat. 

Before this, he preached to the millions of devout Muslims and delivered guidance speech, popularly known as Hedayati Bayan. 

In the presence of millions of Muslims from all over the country, the venue was buzzing with the sound ‘Allahu Akbar’. The devotees sought mercy and forgiveness from Almighty Allah and prayed for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

The second phase of the congregation began with the Aam Bayan on Friday, which was delivered by Maulana Ilyas bin Saad of India.

On February 2, the first phase of Bishwa Ijtema began with the Aam Bayan. On February 4, it ended with the Akheri Munajat conducted by Kakrail Jame Mosque’s Pesh Imam Mawlana Jubayer Ahmed.
