Four killed as truck hits Easybike in Khulna

Four people, including a woman, were killed as a truck hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw (locally known as Easybike) in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Saturday afternoon.

Among the deceased, three were identified as Bishwajit Bishwas, 30, driver of the Easybike and resident of Jiyeltala village under Shovana union, Sabbir Moral, 23, of Angardoha village under Kharnia union, and Nipa Dhali, 25, of Bil Pabla village under Gutudia union in the upazila.

The incident occurred beside Khornia Petrol Pump on the Khulna-Satkhira Highway.

Confirming the matter, Dumuria Police Station officer in-charge Sukanta Saha said the bodies were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
