4 killed as BRTC bus runs them over in Dinajpur

Four people were killed after a BRTC bus ran them over on Dinajpur-Rangpur highway at Suihari Bazar of Ranirbandar in Dinajpur on Tuesday morning. 

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Source said, a BRTC bus was going to Rangpur from Doshmile Mor area at 6:30am. The bus lost its control at Suihari Bazar and crushed four people who were standing on the side of the road.

Fajlur Rahman, a local volunteer, said two people of Chakma community are among the deceased. They were the honey traders.  

Zakir Shikder, Inspector (investigation) of Chirirbandar Police Station, confirmed the deaths of four people in the road accident.
