Bodies of woman, 2 children recovered in Khulna

Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two minor children in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased were Doly Begum, 38, wife of Mannan Sarder, a resident of Kamalpur village in the upazila, and her two children - six-year-old Fatema and seven-month-old Omar.

The bodies were retrieved from a house in Kamalpur, Dumuria Police Station officer in-charge Sukanta Saha told Jago News.

Police assume Doly Begum might first murdered two children and then, killed herself between 8 am and 11 am over family conflict, he said.

However, her husband Mannan remains missing after the incident, the OC added.
