Zero Covid death, 35 cases recorded in 24 hrs

The Bangladesh government reported zero COVID-19 death and 35 cases in the last 24 hours (from Monday 8 am to Tuesday 8 am) as the coronavirus infection rises again in the country.

Four people died from the coronavirus this year, and since its outbreak in the country in March 2020, a total of 29,481 died and 20,46,823 were infected.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on today.

The new cases were found after testing 406 samples in the past day.

During the period, 22 patients recovered from the illness, taking the total recoveries to 20,14,201.

The virus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and then it spread to other countries.
