Father, son killed in nasiman-motorbike collision

A man and his son were killed in a collision between a three-wheeler, locally known as nasiman, and a motorcycle in Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram on Sunday morning.

The deceased were Shahidul Islam, 48, a resident of Sarkertari village under Kachakata Police Station and his son Biplob, 25.

Bhurungamari Police Station officer in-charge Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter.

Locals said a nasiman and a motorbike clashed head-on in Pateshwari area amid thick fog, leaving the vehicle's two passengers seriously injured.

Later, the died on the way to Bhurungamari Hospital.
