Ishwardi upazila chairman Nayeb Ali dies
Pabna’s Ishwardi upazila chairman freedom fighter Nayeb Ali Biswas died on Saturday morning. He was 82.
He breathed his last at a hospital in Dhaka at 10:15am.
His younger son engineer Shariful Islam Sharif confirmed the death to Jago News.
Nayeb, also president of Ishwardi upazila unit of Awami League, had been suffering from different old-age complications including heart disease.
He left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
Pabna-4 lawmaker Galibur Rahman Sharif, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Subir Kumar Das and Ishwardi upazila unit of Awami League General Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Mintu expressed their deep shock at the death of Nayeb.
