Two dengue patients die; 23 hospitalized in 24 hrs

Two dengue patients died and 23 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Wednesday.

Currently, 165 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 71 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 94 are in other divisions.

As many as 756 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 581 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
