SP Babul returns to work

Police Superintendent Babul Akter, whose wife Mahmuda Khanam was killed in Chittagong on June 5, has joined his office.

Shiala Mosharaf, sister-in law of Babul Akter confirmed the incident by saying Babul Akter joined his office on Monday after two months of his wife’s murder.

Earlier, on June 25, Babul Akhter was taken away by police officials from his father-in-law’s Bhuiyan Para residence in the city’s Khilgaon.

From that day, Babul didn’t join his office and stayed in his in law’s house.

On June 5, three assailants stabbed and shot Mitu dead when she was taking her son to his school bus stop at GEC intersection in the port city.
