3 of a family to die for killing

A Gazipur court on Wednesday sentenced four members of a family to death for killing of a women named Safia Begum, 65.

Md. Fazle Elahi Bhuyan, Judge of Additional District and Session Judge passed the verdict.

The convicted people are Siddik Bhandari and his wife Ayesha Khatun and his son Murad Hosen.

According to source, Safia Begum, wife of Jamir Hosen Paik, went into missing on May 14, 2008. Later her dead body was found near at her house.

In this connection, Safia’s husband filed a murder case against unidentified miscreants with Jaydebpur Police Station.
