Private car set on fire in Mymensingh

Miscreants set a private car on fire in Mymensingh city on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred in Noumohal Gorukhoar Mor area around 6:30 pm, said Abu Zafar Ahmed, station officer of Mymensingh Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Being informed, the fire was brought under control, he said, adding that it could not be known who committed the offense.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Kotwali Model Police Station officer in-charge Moin Uddin said an investigation is underway into the arson attack and details will be informed later.
