Deepto TV’s video editor killed in Savar road crash

A staff of private television channel Deepto TV was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Banktown area in Savar of Dhaka on Sunday morning.  

The deceased was identified as Kamruzzaman Ratan, 50, video editor of the television. 

He used to live with his family at Talbagh area in Savar. 

Deepto TV’s Savar correspondent Abdul Halim said Ratan was killed as a speedy truck hit his motorcycle at Banktown area in the morning. 

Sheikh Abul Hossain, Savar Highway Police Station, said the body was recovered and taken to the police station. Legal action is under process in this regard.
