14 Shibir men held in capital
Police in a drive detained 14 suspected members of Islami Chhatra Shibir from Modhubazaar in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh area in the early hours of Wednesday.
The identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-charge of Hazaribagh Police Station, Meer Alimuzzaman said they conducted a drive and held them from 12:30am to 3am.
Police also recovered some Jihadi books and leaflets from their possession, he added.
