2 killed as bus, trolley collide in Barishal

Two people were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a trolley in Barishal on Sunday morning.

The accident took place on Dhaka-Barishal highway at Natun Shikarpur area in Wazirpur upazila around 6:30am. 

Md Zafar Ahmmed, Officer-in-charge of Wazirpur Police Station, said a bus of Shakura Paribahan was going to Barishal from Dhaka in the morning. When the bus reached Natun Shikarpur area, it collided head-on with a trolley coming from opposite direction, leaving two people dead on the spot and seven others injured.

The OC also said the bodies were recovered. The ill-fated bus and the trolley were also seized.
