Wanted terrorist among 5 held in N’ganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested listed terrorist Abdur Rashid Mithun and his four associates at Shibu Market area in Fatullah upazila of Narayanganj district on Monday night.

The arrestees were identified as Abdur Rashid Mithun, 41, and his associates Mamun, 28, Badsha, 30, Shamim, 22 and Alamgir, 30.

Acting on secret information a team of RAB-11 conducted a drive at the area and arrested the five terrorists around 10pm, said a RAB -11, press release signed by of RAB-11 Captain, Additional Superintendent of Police Noresh Chakma.

RAB also recovered one foreign made pistol, two rounds of bullets, 390 pieces of Yaba, and tk 91,785 from their possession.

Two cases were filed in this connection.
