Student found dead in RU dormitory

A student of Rajshahi University has been found dead in a dormitory of the university.

Deceased Fuad Al Khatib was a masters student of the Social Work department and hailed from Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha.

His fellow students found him unconscious at 184 no. room at Shaheed Shamsuzzoha Hall on Sunday afternoon and took him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Motihar Zone, Rajshahi additional deputy commissioner Ekramul said the reasons behind the death can be known after receiving the autopsy report.

Social Worker dept Professor Dr Golam Kibria Ferdous said Fuad cannot commit suicide and they want to know the actual reasons behind his death.
