Cocktail exploded at Rajshahi court premises, one injured

One person was injured in a cocktail blast at the Judicial Magistrate Court premises in Rajshahi on Wednesday. 

The incident took place at the west side of the court around 11:30am.

The injured person was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. 

On information, the law enforcing members rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. A glass window of a building next to the court was broken in the incident. 

Jamilur Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said someone threw a cocktail at the court premises. Additional police members were deployed on the spot. Legal step will be taken in this regard.
