Miscreants torched a bus of 'Shyamoli Bangla' Paribahan at Tejgaon in Dhaka on Sunday night on the first day of the fourth phase blockade enforced by BNP and like-minded parties.
The incident took place in Nabisco area around 8:20 pm, Talha Jashim, media cell officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told Jago News.
Later, two units of firefighters rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, he said.
Earlier, BNP and like-minded parties observed blockade programs of road, rail, and waterways for seven days in three phases as part of the ongoing movement to oust the government.
After the three phases, a 48-hour blockade was announced from Sunday 6 am to Tuesday 6 am.
