The incident took place around 2:28 pm, Talha Jashim, media cell officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed.
Later, two units of firefighters from Baridhara Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, he said.
BNP, and Jamaat observed a dawn-to-dusk hartal across the country on October 29 after the attacks and clashes around the party's grand rally in the capital on October 28.
Then, BNP, and Jamaat observed blockade programs of road, rail, and waterways in two phases - three days in the first phase and two days in the second phase.
After the two phases, another 48-hour blockade was announced for Wednesday and Thursday that is underway.
