RMG workers' minimum wage fixed at Tk 12500

The minimum wage of the readymade garment workers has been raised to Tk 12,500 from Tk 8,000.
State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian made the announcement at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
She said the new minimum wage will come into effect from December 1.
Earlier in 2018, the government set RMG workers' minimum wage at Tk 8,000.
