Cocktails hurled at police patrol car in Uttara, 3 injured
Three members of police were injured as miscreants hurled two cocktails at a police patrol car at House Building area in the capital’s Uttara on Sunday morning on the first day of two-day countrywide blockade called by BNP and its allies.
Uttara Paschim Police Station’s Sub Inspector Mahbub Ali are among the injured.
The incident occurred around 6am, said Jotyrmoy Saha, Senior Assistant Police Commissioner (Uttara Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
He said our three members were injured slightly after the miscreants hurled cocktails at the police vehicle.
He also said Gazipur city unit Chhatra Dal Vice President Kazi Md Hasan was detained red-handed in connection with the incident.
