Govt reduces Hajj package cost by Tk 92,450

The government has reduced the cost of the hajj package under its management by Tk 92,450.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haq Khan announced the “Hajj Package-2024” at a press conference at Secretariat on Thursday. 

He said the cost of hajj package under government hajj management has been set at Tk 578,840. The cost of special hajj package has been fixed at Tk 936,320. 

Earlier in March, the Hajj packages were announced with a government package fixed at Tk 671,290 for each pilgrim and a private package fixed at Tk 660,890.

A total of 127,198 Bangladeshis will be able to perform hajj in 2024, said the Religious Affairs Ministry.
