Bus torched in Shyamoli on second day of blockade
The miscreants torched a bus in Shyamoli area of Dhaka on Wednesday evening on the second day of the blockade of road, rail and waterways enforced by BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
Miscreants in the guise of passengers got on a bus of 'Welcome Paribahan' and set it on fire in front of Shyamoli square around 6 pm, said assistant commissioner Imrul of Traffic Mohammadpur Zone of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
The fire was doused immediately, he said adding that no casualties were reported in the incident.
Earlier, BNP and Jamaat separately announced a three-day blockade of road, rail and waterways and today is its second day.
