Police member killed in clash with BNP

A police member was killed while discharging duty during clashes between BNP men and the law enforcers at Nayapaltan in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known.
He died around 4:15 pm, resident surgeon Md Alauddin of the Emergency Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital confirmed.
The body was kept at the DMCH morgue, said the hospital Police Camp in-charge (inspector) Md Bachchu Mia.
However, around 41 police members were injured during clashes between the law enforcers and BNP men at Nayapaltan, Kakrail, and Nightengel intersection.
