Salman F Rahman holds meeting with Uzra Zeya

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman held a meeting with the US Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya at the State Department in USA on Friday (local time). 

Several issues including free and fair elections in Bangladesh, Rohingya refugee support and humanitarian assistance to Gaza Gaza were discussed in the meeting. 

Uzra Zeya confirmed the matter in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. 

Bangladesh Ambassador to the US Muhammad Imran, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Afreen Akhter and senior officials of Bangladesh Embassy and US State Department were present at the meeting.
