PM mourns Syed Abul Hossain’s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former Communications Minister and Awami League (AL)’s former lawmaker of Madaripur-3 constituency Syed Abul Hossain, reports BSS.

In a message of condolence, the premier, who is now in Brussels, Belgium on a three-day official visit to attend the Global Gateway Forum, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Syed Abul Hossain breathed his last around 2:05 am today while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the capital. He was 72.

He is survived by wife, two daughters, a lot of well-wishers and admirers.
