Raise social awareness against terrorism: Nahid

Urging to raise social awareness and social movements against terrorism Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Monday said it is our duty to protect our new generation from religion extremism and terrorism.

He came up with his remarks in a human chain formed against militancy and terrorism at Central Shohid Minar in a part of countrywide human chain against militancy.

The minister said we can’t stop terrorism only through the law. To stop extremism and terrorism we need to raise awareness among the people and to build social movement against it.

He said awareness programs will be launched at primary schools to raise anti-terrorism value among the children.
