Anti-militancy human chains formed at colleges, varsities

Anti-militancy human chains have been formed in all universities and colleges respective campuses across the country on Monday morning to create awareness against militancy and terrorism and to commemorate those who were killed in Gulshan and Sholakia attacks.

Thousands of students and teachers took part in the hour-long protest programme at 11am. General people have also expressed solidarity with them.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) organised the human chain programmes.
