Youth held with pistol
Police in a drive held a youth along with a pistol, five round bullets and two magazines in Barisal at 9am on Monday.
The detainee is Mahbubul Alam, 28, son of Zayedur Rahman, of village Rahanpur in Chapainawabganj.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, Md. Awlad Hosen said acting on a tip-off, a team of police took their position at Hatem Ali college gate. Police arrested Mahbubul when he was reaching the college gate.
