Ctg canteen waiter stabbed dead

A restaurant waiter was stabbed to death inside the canteen of Chittagong Medical College Hospital early Sunday.

The victim was identified as Farhadul Islam, 22, son of Nurul Alam, hailing from Mosheskhali upazila in Chittagong.

Pankaj Bruah, In charge of Chittagong Medical College Police Outpost said Masud, 25, a former colleague stabbed the victim to death, following an altercation between them over a mobile phone on Sunday morning.

Colleagues rushed Farhad to the CMCH emergency where the doctors declared him dead.

A murder case was filed in this connection.
