Student killed in motorcycle accident on Hanif Flyover

A student was killed in a motorcycle accident on the Hanif Flyover in Jatrabari area of Dhaka early Friday.

Deceased Rony was a student of Class X at Shahjahanpur Railway Colony Govt High School and son of Joj Mia, a resident of Sabubagh in the capital.

Rony's cousin Yasin Hossain said they, some friends, went to Mawa on separate motorcycles.

Rony's bike hit the railing of Hanif Flyover around 5 am when they were returning to Dhaka, leaving him seriously injured, he said.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, Yasin added.

DMCH Police Camp in-charge Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
